Often, the conventionally un-beautiful is neglected. Walked past and unappreciated without the consideration of whatever sentiment it may contain. And though aesthetics have long been debated and discussed, and while there is no absolute consensus on what is to be called beautiful, there remains a general admiration of the monumental, whilst the unappealing remains unseen.
This series is an exploration of the unremarkable. Through photographing interiors that would normally be considered to be mundane, uninteresting, or unattractive; this work aims to see the extraordinary in the sub- ordinary.
